Hundreds of people visited the Preble County Historical Society to attend the Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration. With live music, raffles, food, historical re-enactments, historic structures and artifacts from Preble County on display there was something for everyone! Page 462010 Dayton Vectren AirshowWith an international airport 20 minutes from Preble County, Preble Life jumped on the opportunity to report on the activities at the Dayton Airshow. The airport is a very important resource for not only Preble County but for the entire Miami Valley. From freight to international travel, the Dayton Airport is a genuine asset for our county!With military and civil aviation represented, Preble Lifehad the opportunity to fly aboard two impressive aircraft. We flew aboard the Flagship Detroit, the worlds oldest flying DC-3 and we flew with the Blue Angels on their C-130 called Fatg Albert. Oh man, hang on!Page 47Page 48Page 49
