Page 3Dear Preble Life... Yes, we get notes and comments from readers of Preble LifescrollbarI was born just outside of Lewisburg, Ohio back in 1940. I grew up in the same area until I got married to a Preble Co. Girl. We move briefly out of the county then came back to the mother county, to Eaton, Ohio. Eaton is where I worked and played and eventually retired from. We then moved clear out of the county and even the State. I have a fond memory of the events around the county and I stay in touch with members that still live within Preble County. This is just another way to remind me of the place whence I came. Preble Life worked hard to help promote the Heaven's Corner Chamber of Commerce Toast of the Town event in June. 650 people attended! It was great! I had no idea they had so many animals.We will have to take our grandchildren when they come to visit ! -Marian J. We had a great time and we will keep attending! The six ships bearing the name Preble have witnessed epic episodes of American history including the battles on Lake Champlain, the Mexican wars and the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
